Frequently asked questions

Q

Which branding method is most durable?

Embroidery is the most durable for garments washed weekly over years — it’s stitched into the fabric rather than sitting on top. Printing is more economical for one-off event or campaign runs. See our embroidery and printing pages for a full comparison.

Q

Can you brand items we already own?

Yes — embroidery, printing, promotional items and signage are all available whether the garment or item came from our workshop or you supply it yourself.

Q

Do you handle the artwork and logo file?

We can work from an existing logo file (vector preferred) or recreate one from a low-resolution image or printed sample at no extra charge for standard orders.

Not sure which method fits your order? Tell us the item, quantity and design, and we’ll recommend the method that will hold up best.

Branding services in Nairobi: one place for garments, gifts and signs

Companies, schools and groups usually need branding in several forms at once: logos on shirts, caps for the team, mugs for clients, banners for an event and a sign over the door. Searching for corporate branding in Nairobi often leads to different suppliers for each, with different colour matching and delivery dates. MoveBrands brings them together.

We are a Nairobi Kasarani-based business. Embroidery and printing are done in-house, and our shop in Kasarani, Nairobi lets you hold samples, compare thread colours and talk to the people who will run your job.

A useful rule: if the item will be worn weekly for years, embroider. If you need hundreds for an event, print. If you want a photo or many colours on polyester, sublimate. The blog comparison of embroidery and screen printing goes deeper.

Getting artwork ready and ordering

Send details to +254 720 149 329 on WhatsApp or info@movebrands.co.ke. You receive an itemised price list or quote within the same working day. Embroidery digitising is a one-time setup and standard bulk embroidery is ready 5-7 working days after artwork approval. Online prices equal shop prices. Bulk rates apply.

How to keep branding costs under control

Why use one supplier for all your branding

Colour and logo size drift when several suppliers handle one brand. When embroidery, printing, caps, gifts and signs start from the same artwork on our records, a re-order next year uses the same files. You can add items gradually without starting over each time.

Delivery across Kenya

Collect in Kasarani, Nairobi or have your branded goods delivered to Mombasa, Machakos, Kiambu, Thika, Embu, Meru, Nanyuki, Nyeri, Naivasha, Nakuru, Eldoret and Kisumu. Branding often goes together with uniforms: see corporate wear and school uniforms.

Branding services: more questions

Q

Can you brand garments that I bought elsewhere?

Often yes, depending on the fabric. Send a photo or visit the shop and we will confirm which method suits.

Q

What file format do you need for a logo?

A vector file is ideal, but a clear image works to start. We prepare the production file ourselves.

Q

Can one order include embroidery, printing and signage?

Yes. Describe everything in one WhatsApp message and we will prepare one itemised quote.

Q

Do you brand for small businesses and individuals?

Yes. We handle small and bulk jobs; bulk rates apply as quantities grow.
