Scrubs and clinical wear for hospitals, clinics and pharmacies, in standard medical colourways with facility name embroidery.
| Item | Fabric | Colours |
|---|---|---|
| Scrub tops & trousers | Cotton-poly, easy-wash | Standard medical colourways or custom |
| Lab coats | Cotton-poly twill | White, with embroidered name/title |
Facilities ordering across multiple departments (nursing, lab, reception) can specify a different colour per department while keeping the same facility branding.
Scrubs are meant to be simple: a top, a trouser, comfortable to move in and easy to wash. But a facility that buys scrubs for forty or four hundred staff has to think about more than that. Colour coding, fit, fabric weight, pockets and the placement of the facility name all affect how staff work and how patients see them.
MoveBrands is a Nairobi Kasarani-based manufacturer. We make scrub suits and lab coats in-house, and you can visit our shop in Kasarani, Nairobi to see fabrics, check colours in natural light and feel the weight before deciding. For clinic owners in Nairobi and managers upcountry searching for custom scrubs in Kenya, that saves guesswork and returns.
Colour coding is one of the easiest ways to help patients and visitors identify staff. A common arrangement looks like this, but your facility can pick any scheme.
| Department | Common colour choice | Why it works |
|---|---|---|
| Nursing | Ceil blue, teal or navy | Calm and familiar to patients |
| Theatre and surgery | Green or blue | Reduces eye strain under bright lights |
| Laboratory | White coat over scrubs, or grey and maroon | Separates lab staff from ward staff |
| Reception and admin | Branded polo or tunic | Distinct from clinical staff, see branded polo shirts |
| Paediatrics | Brighter shades or printed fabrics | Less intimidating for children |
| Pharmacy | White dust coat or pastel scrub | Clean and professional; see dust coats |
A common mistake is ordering one generic size range for everyone. Get actual measurements for chest and hips where possible, and order additional stock in the mid-size range.
Embroidering the facility name or logo on the chest of each top builds a professional image and helps staff be identified. You can add the person's name and title on the opposite side. Embroidery is more durable than printing under heavy washing, which is why we recommend it for scrubs. Digitising is a one-time setup, and the logo file is stored for future orders. Details are on our embroidery page.
Standard bulk embroidery is ready 5-7 working days after artwork approval. We can separate packing by ward or by department when requested.
Wash scrubs inside out, avoid bleach on coloured fabric and do not overload the machine. Rotate at least two or three sets per person so no single set wears out first. Clinics that launder centrally should tell us so we can suggest hard-wearing seams and colourfast fabric.
Schools with a sickbay or science lab may also want our school lab coats, and larger institutions can see the bulk orders page.

Yes. Small clinics and pharmacies are welcome, and quantity-based rates apply as orders grow.
A lab coat is a longer, clinical-style coat for laboratories and doctors; a dust coat is a lighter layer for retail and service staff. We make both.
